Athletic Training Guide for Visiting Athletic Teams

The George Fox University athletic training staff welcomes you and your team to our campus. Please see any of our staff members if you have any questions regarding athletic training event coverage.

Facilities

The athletic training room (ATR) is located on the lower level of Wheeler Sports Center. The ATR will open approximately two hours prior to competition.

Coverage

A certified athletic trainer (ATC) will be present for all contests hosted by George Fox University.

Water, water bottles, and ice will be available to the athletes. Emergency supplies and equipment will be available as needed. Shower towels will not be provided.

Treatment

We have ultrasound and electrical stimutaion machines available for treatment. Electrical modalities will only be administered with a written prescription--including specific parameters from a physician or ATC. Emergency services are on call for all competitions.
