BSB: George Fox and Corban Swap Home Dates Due to Wet Field in Salem

NEWBERG, Ore. - Due to wet conditions at Corban College’s Warrior Field, the George Fox University baseball game at Corban College that was set for Wednesday, Mar. 17, has been moved to the Bruins’ Morse Field on Wednesday, Mar. 17, at 3:00 p.m.

Rainy weather over the past week left Corban’s outfield unplayable, and with a big weekend series against fellow NAIA West member Simpson University coming up, Warriors’ coach Nate Mayben and Bruins’ coach Marty Hunter agreed to swap home dates.  The Bruins will now play at Corban on Wednesday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m.

George Fox is 9-8 on the season, while Corban is 6-11.  The next games for the Bruins will be a three-game Northwest Conference series Saturday and Sunday at Willamette University.
